By accessing or using AudLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Service Description
AudLink is a real-time audio collaboration platform that enables musicians, podcasters, and creators to jam, record, and collaborate remotely with ultra-low latency.
Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use AudLink
- You must provide accurate account information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person may not maintain multiple free accounts
Subscription Tiers
AudLink offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free: 5 hours/month, 1:1 sessions only, no recording
- Mobile Pro ($9.99/mo): 40 hours/month, multi-participant sessions, BYOS recording
- Creator ($19.99/mo): 80 hours/month, multi-track recording
- Studio Pro ($49.99/mo): 200 hours/month, DAW plugin support, priority support
All paid tiers include a unified overage rate of $0.25/hr for usage beyond your monthly allocation.
Session Hours
Session hours are measured as the total time you host active sessions. Hours reset at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Joining sessions hosted by others does not count against your hours.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use AudLink for illegal activities or to transmit illegal content
- Record participants without their consent
- Share session access with unauthorized users
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform
- Use the service to harass or harm others
- Violate intellectual property rights of others
Content Ownership
Your Content: You retain ownership of all audio content you create using AudLink. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for service delivery.
Recordings: Session hosts control recording permissions. All participants are notified when recording is active. You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents from participants.
Audio Quality and Latency
AudLink strives to provide sub-20ms latency, but actual performance depends on network conditions, hardware, and geographic distance between participants. We do not guarantee specific latency or audio quality levels.
Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
Limitation of Liability
AudLink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Lost recordings due to technical issues
- Session interruptions or audio quality degradation
- Unauthorized access resulting from user negligence
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
