Audio Data Processing
Real-time Audio: Audio streams are transmitted peer-to-peer when possible, with server relay used only when direct connection is not available. We do not store real-time audio unless recording is explicitly enabled by the session host.
Recordings: When recording is enabled, audio is encrypted and stored in the cloud. Recordings are accessible only to session participants and are automatically deleted after 90 days unless saved to your permanent storage.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- End-to-end encryption for all audio streams
- AES-256 encryption for stored recordings
- Secure WebRTC connections with DTLS
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while account is active
- Session metadata: 12 months
- Recordings: 90 days (or until manually deleted)
- Technical logs: 30 days
